You may know me as Tara Aldana, I am both a reader and writer of romance books! My digital library holds about 1,000 digital books books onn my Kindle and Nook and over 80 % of them romance! This does not include my paperback and hardcover stash or the e-books I regularly check out of my local library, so I can read expensive books for free, maybe after a wait.
Here in Michigan where I live, we have the fabulous Great Lakes and over 100 state parks, so I spend a lot of time on beaches. I’ve also been to Hawaii, Myrtle Beach, Cancun, the Bahamas and beaches on the east and west coasts of the United States.
The lakes in my beautiful state have inspired me to write my 5-book Merman novella series, published by Black Opal Books, for a total of 11 books. You can check out my Amazon author page is here:
The books on my beach reads list are books I’ve read and reread many times for inspiration and for fun. They run the gamut from the forbidden love between a real-life, modern king and his daughters’ nanny, to a romance between a member of a motorcycle club and a woman who wants no part of that, to a woman with Asperger’s with an aversion to intimacy who hires a hot male escort to teach her to like sex.
I can’t forget these book boyfriends, and I hope you fall in love with these characters as much as I did. That said, while you’re at the beach with your favorite reads, remember to take a break from scanning the page to scan the beautiful vista before you and enjoy the sun and sand, too. It’s all good.
